    Youth Parliament

    Youth Parliament is an important initiative in Kendriya Vidyalaya that gives students an opportunity to understand and experience democratic processes and the functioning of the parliamentary system. Under this, students are inducted into various political roles, such as Prime Minister, Minister, and MP. Here is how the process works:

    1. Selection Process: Students are selected through various stages, which may include written tests, interviews, and presentations.
    2. Roles and Responsibilities: Selected students play various roles and perform parliamentary procedures such as debates, discussions, and formulating policy proposals.
    3. Sessions: During regular sessions, students simulate parliamentary procedures, which include debates, question hours, and adoption of resolutions.
    4. Training: Students are provided training on parliamentary procedures, public speaking, and policy making.
    5. Objectives: Its main objective is to develop leadership skills, provide a deeper understanding of democratic processes, and encourage students to be responsible citizens.
